Hello, I don't usually look at die chips, but this one stuck out to me. It doesn't make the top of the 5 and the curve indistinguishable though, wouldn't it do that if it were a die chip? Sorry if I sound terribly stupid- I don't typically post here.
Evan, you can liken the crack to lightning during a storm. You have no idea where it is going to strike next. Chris
It's definitely a die chip. Its also worn from circulation but it's still a nice chip and worthy of adding to your collection.

Everyone, I think I got it. I'm no expert on varieties, and I can't find it on any variety websites, but I guess it's a common die chip in 1956 25c pieces. It is called the "Double Bar 5" which is outlines in this post here. Doesn't appear to have much premium, just a couple cents Anyone know of any variety people who may be able to attest?
