I received my gift in the mail very quickly (but was on vacation). I'll probably open it early and will post here when I do.

 

My gift arrived today! I’m so excited and it is already under the tree. Will open on a Christmas. Thanks Santa!

Speaking of drink, last night I had a very delicious rum. Zacapa, comes from Guatemala and is aged in whiskey and wine barrels. Being someone who usually puts a mixer with my liquor, I enjoyed this one straight (coke in the background isn't mine). And yes, I managed to bring up numismatics while drinking with coworkers. Tonight it's bourbon and I'm grabbing a couple coins to show off, should the chance arise.

 

Wow! Santa was quite generous with you!! (You must have been very good this past year!). The ancient coins you received are BC ancient coins!! And, very desirable ones, too. Niiiiice!

For now it is Angry Orchard hard cider.

Okay folks, I sent out the last SS names. We are officially and unofficially closed! I have no new states to add to our list, but there are 51 participants total.

If any of you are wondering how I determined the SS order, here's a small look behind the curtain:
I used https://www.random.org/lists/
I originally waited until I had at least 10 participants to begin. I randomized that list and sent out just 3 names to the first three who signed up.

As I added more participants, I threw in the previous 7 or so names into the next batch and hit the randomizer again.

That way, those who first joined may not necessarily be gifting or receiving gifts from that same group. For an example, the 29th person to sign up is the SS for the 3rd person to sign up.

This helps ensure complete random assignments and should hopefully make it harder to find out who your Secret Santa is. I know some of you really enjoy trying to figure it out.
