Here's a few of my favorites. . This one is in a beast up PCGS slab and was the hardest to capture. A special thanks to @robec for shooting it for me and capturing its true beauty. And one from my damsco.
I have been watching a proof gold eagle for several months and was able to hide-away enough to buy it. I know it isn't proof, but it was beautiful and just when I thought I could get it, our HVAC broke down. I can't complain because we are living in my wife's home. That was a $4,400 expense. I'm looking at another coin now... a 1877 Indian Head Penny or a 1856 Eagle Flying. Neither are gold, but they are beautiful. Keep posting. I love your Proofs.
It's nothing special, just junk clad. I found it CRH. The proof luster is completely gone. It looks like a business strike. No major damage, just avg. circulation wear. The patina matched the other Commemorates in my 7070, so I added it.
I looked at a bunch of them before pulling the trigger. In person, it fully lives up to the term “brilliant.”
