Hi, New here, For some reason, I can't post in the ancient forum so hopefully, this will help. I have what I believe is a "hut" coin but would love to know more about it if possible as I can't seem to ID it anywhere as my tree, hut and figure seem different than others. I was thinking of giving this to a friends daughter who is collecting coins now as recent and I thought this would be a great addition for here esp Show and tell at school.
Looks like a Constans hut coin from Trier to me. First officina. TRP in the exergue. Those "balls" at the end of the tree limb are pretty distinctively Trier. Scroll down to the Trier section of this site: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/moonmoth/hut_coins.html If you're having trouble sleeping, click here to read an explanation of these coins that apparently only I agree with. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fu0nwqs89... and Vergilian Iconography VERGILIUS.pdf?dl=0
