I received a Saturnalia gift the other day and I'm looking forward to opening it. I purchased a coin on the 23rd and had the dealer ship it directly to the recipient. I'm hoping it reaches it's destination in a timely manner.

Sent mine out today and I hope the recipient likes it. He posts a lot of high dollar coins and that isn’t quite in my budget. But that’s the beauty of this entire event. We all tend to be happy to just give and get a little something in return. On that note, my gift already arrived and is awesome. I will get pics posted as soon as I can.

 

I sent my gift a couple weeks ago. Should have arrived. If it didnt' I will be very angry with the USPS

 

I managed to send my gift out two weeks ago, a day before leaving for a trip. Just got back home yesterday to find my own Saturnalia present waiting for me... a pleasant surprise I can’t wait to open!

Sent my gift off Tuesday (I had originally said Monday but that day got a bit hectic for me).

 

I received my gift today; it is a very beautiful coin, and I want to thank my gifted for sharing! I would've waited until the 17th to open it, but I didn't realize what it was until too late. I'll post pictures once we get closer to the date.

My gift should be reaching its recipient any day now, if it hasn't already...

 

When I returned from work today my wife told me that I got a coin in the mail. Having not purchased anything since AMCC2 I was at first perplexed, then realized it was a gift for Secret Saturnalia! I'm really excited and can't wait to open it.

 

It is the thought that counts. I love all the Saturnalia coins I've been gifted, even the ones that I might not have bought myself. It's the fact that someone else took some time to think about what I might like, and gave it their best despite the difficulty. That's touching, and it's easy to overlook that with our modern obsession with having the flashiest, latest thing. We forget that gifting is not really about the item itself, but about the human bonds and connections we form when we take some time to think of someone else besides ourselves.

 

Got mine yesterday and it is simply fantastic! Absolutely great! I have to do some light cleaning on a few to get a 100% id on a few pieces. Once that is done I'll post them up here with attributions and other info.
I have a package almost ready to go to my recipient, just waiting on one coin I ordered to get here. Hope they like it, i found an unusual type in one of my boxes that should be of some interest at least as a type coin.
