I thought they have been out for a while? my dealer has the silver quarter proof set already stainles
Hello!!! Hello everyone! I'm a new-B to the collecting of coins, I have been doing it for about 6 months now. i started out with the State Quaters and now I am going to go for Kenndy half Dollars if Any one out there has advice or can help me out I am all ears. Thanks and hope to talk to someone soon about my new love.:hail:
WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!! but you might want to go make a thread in the Introductions that way you get more noticable.... stainless
2007 proof set 2007 proof set is the lowest proof set as far as mintage is concerned. see this 07 proof will rise over $100.00 soon.
I have tried that logic before and did not do very well... Depends on what hands they are in. If dealers have them they will be worth very little:hammer:
Aside Are any of you guys on subscription or do you order the sets manually? I've got subscriptions for all proof and Unc. offerings.
It usually takes them a good solid 5 business days before I receive the sets, sometime longer. I hope we get them before next weekend so I can work on them. One set stays packaged and one set is broken up for my books. With this new packaging, breaking them out is kind of tricky. Gotta be very careful. :hammer:
I do it all the time Joe....I'll pad my order to save on shipping, although I have subscriptions for the proof and unc. issues of year sets. By the way, my 2008 proof is in Wilmington OH. Just tracked it..finally some movement after five days in Memphis. I don't think the Mint sends things out on the date that they say they do. I think they just foward the paper work to DHL on the day that they state that the item is shipped and then wait for the boys in the pretty little yellow trucks to come and pick up the shippment. Yours getting any closer to the mountain state? Ken
Ken, got mine today! Wow, that was fast. I am actually heading out to my local coin club, so I won't have time to look at them until tomorrow or maybe later on tonight.
