for a while now i have been collecting currency. i have gotten together a pretty nice collection going. the whole time i was trying to figure out what was going to be my main thing to collect. i think as of now i will be focusing on notes from Chicago. i will still collect other districts and still collect foreign but Chicago notes will be my focus. condition is not the most important thing. i know prices are going up on all older notes so i figure i will go for what i can afford and upgrade down the line. with that said here are the main highlights to date enjoy!! 1928 B $20 CHICAGO FRN NOTE 1934 $10 CHICAGO FRN NOTE 1934 A $10 CHICAGO FRN NOTE #1 OF 2 CONSECUTIVE 1934 A 10 CHICAGO FRN NOTE #2 0F 2 CONSECUTIVE

Thats great!! My only question is why not go for nothing less than AU? If you are going to do it Urban, then heck, go for it all. I decided to do just that 2 years ago. The collection grows slower and the average cost per note is higher but look on the bright side. With rising prices, availability, rarity and down right scarcity.....build the best Chicago collection known!! Thas my goal, but with New York..LOL Good luck!! And oh, does this mean you might consider passing along that Series 1969 Hamilton..LOL You just never know what "7 note I may have hanging around!! RickieB
tis a nice gola urban lol good luck and do post what you get. alot of us vicariously live through folks like you
Yeah, like clembo said, Chicago seems to be pretty common. That should be an easy set to complete. Heck, I'm getting pretty close just by pulling them out of circulation at face value.
A Few More Notes Found In Circulation Duhhhh!!! Meant to start another thread under this heading. clembo
nice notes and watch out i know someone else who might give you tough competition for those Chicago notes
