Here is my 1984 doubled die ear Lincoln cent being featured in Wexler‘s Varieties Notebook column in March 2020.
WOWIEEE...!! That's WAY cool!! Even bordering on "awesome" me thinks! Congratulations and thanks for sharing that wonderful letter with us!
Congratulations!! Quite an accomplishment. It's gonna be hard to top these two finds. I have that you will!!
Thank you very much guys! I was pretty shocked that he was going to use this one in his column! LOL! I will order magazine from the printing company when they come out. I paid $6 for the first magazine and $7 for my 2nd one. I wonder how much I will have to pay for this one LOL!!
Geez, Sheila! It doesn't seem like it has been 4 years since you joined CT. Congratulations on your submission. Chris
I know! I joined when my son was born. It doesn’t seem like that long ago either. I have had quite a success with these coins. I have had a few listed On Variety Vista And on Wexler’s website as well as cuds on coins. The 1982 that you see mentioned in there, James Wiles listed it on Variety Vista. I have a lot of mentors out there to thank for really getting me where I am. Coin Talk is where my Hobby began. All because I was curious about one coin I had found. And these guys jumped right in and helped! And I never stopped being curious after that. I hope everybody that decides to do this never stops being curious. That’s what it takes to find things in this hobby. It’s about being curious most of the time. Your need to know. Need to know if something is off about this Coin or that Coin.
