1983 D Dime

    Can somebody tell me if this dime is an error. Look at the reverse side. Notice how the leaf/pedal is going to far into the torch. Also the dime as a whole. Would it be damaged or an error coin.

    It had taken such a hard hit (after it left them mint) that it knocked loose a leaf, which has since then stuck to the torch.
