Can anyone show me a 1999 Pennsylvania Quarter overlay? I cant seem to find one....I'm struggling

I couldnt find a clash overlay for this quarter,I asked for help....no1 helped lol

 

Looks like a well circulated quarter to me. Everything you pointed at looks to be PMD of some sort. How it happened is anyone's guess as nobody knows the complete history of this coin.

You are welcome. I am not convinced it is a clash - especially on one of the deepest areas of a device.

 

Fair enuf,I am noting the slanted line in his face (arm) and the stuff on the bottom of his bust(date)

On the rev I'm noting the line in the date(letter) and the junk below the word independence (George's head)

I mean...no?

 

Either way,I already tossed it and wont go digging for it lol

 

Not seeing any evidence of clashing in the fields. Only lots of hits and gouges. @Pete Apple made a good comment above. The highest points on the coin are the lowest points on the die. When the 2 dies clash, those low surfaces rarely, if ever, come in contact, so there would be no image transfer. Keep that in mind when you're looking for clashes in the future

yo foundin. You think that area you circled is where another quarters edge smacked it in the bag? It has about the same gaps or distances in the railroad track looking damage....or am I looking at it wrong? OK, I see what you were probably seeing....could have been wooden tooth georges hair. Good calll on the overlay request! I think it was Furry (sorry if Im giving credit to the wrong yoda) that recently shared a link to penny overlays....super helpful...I saved the link. Clashes are something Ive only recently started kind of scouting for. Too bad the quarter you have is a dupster diver because it could have been something at one point huh?
