Die crack?

    Hello CT,

    i found this coin and i was wondering if this is an error, i heard somewhere that this is a Die crack? i am totally new to errors and know near nothing about them or How much it's worth any, help would be appreciated! (Washington quarter)

    I believe it to be a Lamination Issue (De-laminated)
    A Die Break or Crack would be raised. The Break/crack is on the Die itself so the metal from the blank planchet would flow into the space when struck.

    A Lamination is an area of the planchet that had a flaw.

    It looks like a lamination issue to me, too! Despite the fact that some collectors like to collect die cracks, die chips and lamination errors, they are all fairly commonplace and not worth much more than face value.
