I have just won some morgans, but before I pay for them ,can some one give me advice and price range.1892 ms66 ,1881 CC ms67,1883 CC ms64 .thankyou.
If you weren't sure on their worth, why did you bid on them? It's too late to find out whether you were taken or not now. Guy~
You can be pretty sure the 1881-CC is nowhere near MS-67, it would be worth over $10,000 and would most likely be in a PCGS or NGC slab already. In the future, it is best to research auction records, and understand how to grade the coins you are bidding on.
Do you have any pictures, or a link to the auction? At this point, you're most likely obligated to pay for them regardless of the condition, unless there's been some material representation.
snowman: #1: Welcome #2) You should ask before bidding; #3: Sice the auctions are done, give us the links to check them out, and: #4: Make sure that they are NOT SGS slabs.
Snowman welvome to CT , you'll learn a lot here , 1st thing do you have a grading guide like ANA Grading Standards or Photograde , learning to grade is one of the most important things , then since you bought some Morgan dollars I assume you're intrested in them , get a specialty book on Morgan dollars , after you have learned about the coins you'll need a recent pricing guide , then you should bid on some more common dates . Do you have pictures of these coins then we can help tell you what they're worth . rzage
greetings and welcome! definitely would have to see the coins to comment. your obligation to purchase will depend on the auction rules. best to read and gather info first before buying. please feel free to post pics if you can for more info. Best wishes' steve
