    I just received this coin ... nothing real special, but just a nice size (26mm /.3734 oz) and historic gold coin in an AU-55 grade.

    The 40 FF have a lot going for them, they are fairly sizeable, being .3634 oz of gold, a rather unusual denomination in the 21st century, and usually have some short reigning monarch, a wannabee Corsican, or a guy that started out as the first President of France, and became it's last monarch.
