    So the 73 nickel is legit without a mint mark?

    79 dime and 2015 quarter are damaged . The 1999's 'P' is damaged by the same blow to it that damaged the last 9 in the date. IMO, Jim

    The Red Book is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY if you are going to collect and/or search coins.
    The '73 nickel is legit because it was minted at the Philadelphia mint.

    Get yourself a 2020 Edition of the Red Book, study it, learn from it, and then you will know almost as much as some of us know.
    Besides reading is fun, and that book has lots of "piksures".
