Being a smaller coin, I think any marks hurt the grade more than they would on a larger coin. Therefore I say this coin is capped at a 65.

 

I am going MS68 on this coin. As best as I can get from the photos. Real strong strike obverse and reverse good luster, great coin.

 

I voted 64, but after reading everyone else's guesses I am probably low.

 

MS 66 Hard to tell from my phone but tiny hits on reverse and spot on obverse keep it from being higher

 

66 here - though 65 wouldn't surprise me. Lack of "wow" factor for me.

 

With 43 respondents, CoinTalk guessed almost exactly 66. Unfortunately, PCGS gave this a 67.... Only 37% of guesses got this one right, with the vast majority guessing low.

In my opinion, this coin appears to be a solid 67. The luster is quite strong. The strike is bold. There are almost no marks to mention on the obverse, and just a few on the reverse devices (primarily in out of prime focus areas). Remember, the same mark on the leg of M is much less important than that mark on the torch. I think some people were weighting the importance of the marks a bit too much on this one.

Maybe in hand I can be convinced. It is a 67 in all other aspects
