Nice and original but not a beauty from those pics. I see 45s running from 200-325 for a pretty cac example. I see anywhere around $200 a fair price for this coin
My thoughts exactly. My max bid on this one is near the mark mentioned. Either way I'll keep an eye on this one to see where it goes so I can judge the current market. I wouldn't expect this one to go beyond $250, at least from what I've seen at recent coin shows in the past three months. I passed on one for that amount with a little better eye appeal last month. pcgs has the value listed at $275 if that helps you any, I checked a few recent auctions and one went for $183 another at $325, good luck!
@Long Beard, welcome to CT! Those are your words. So, what's the rush? I suspect you will have regrets (I looked at it - buy the coin, not the slab/subjective grade), but if you still want it, throw a low ball bid at it, & who knows, you might win. Then you will be able to say you won a coin which was not as nice as others you have seen, but you got it for a lot less (if that's what you want in your collection). It's your collection, do what you want to do with it, but I believe you already answered your own question.
Very dark and unattractive. It will be hard to sell later. I would wait for one you can't live without.
I think this coin may look better in hand. I’ve bought a few that looked dark in pics but were really pretty in hand. Not everyone can photo darker original coins well worth a gamble I think
Good for you. I have found very few times I felt like I had to buy something that something better and cheaper didn't pass my way.
Was tempting to bid myself. I really want to see that one in hand. Was either really nice or just ugly. And their pics did no justice
