shiney wheat penny is this a error.

it looks to be chocolate brown.

I honestly can't say that this coin is shiny from these images. Are you using a USB scope to capture them?

What error are you seeing? I just see a 74 year old coin that appears to be in nice condition, from the photos you posted.

 

During the Great American Coin Hunt I tossed around 10 rolls into circulation. Maybe coming back to haunt us.
