Can't narrow it down to one. This next one is a little odd. It is a $20 Hologram Coin from Canada. The reverse changes a little depending on the angle of light. Both reverses are from the same coin. I just changed the lighting angle a tiny bit to show affect.
I am not usually a commemorative guy and bought this as a bullion purchase. Since I have owned the piece it has come to be one that I deeply enjoy. So I would probably call this one my most beautiful..... For now...
Lots of nice coins and great photos here! I am faced with the dilemma of chosing a most beautiful but here are a couple top contenders:
For the U.S. coins I own and have pics of, these two are in my opinion the most beautiful coins in my collection. The 1881-0 my lovely wife bought for me.
Maybe not my MOST beautiful but symbolically it could be. Liberty sowing seeds on the obverse and what could be an olive branch on the reverse. France 1918 end of the great war...pretty beautiful if you think about it...
1897 France 10 centimes. Just something about the design of this coin really caught my fancy, also the toning and condition.
Since I've only begun to accumulate coins from pocket change over the past year or so now, my favorite thus far is the 1776-1976 bicentennial quarter that I got at the car wash change machine last spring/summer. I know it's not much to those who have some very expensive coins in their collection, but, obviously from the mirror shine and "frost", it was a proof in it's previous life. Such a beautiful coin. I'm saddened that such a beautiful coin was cast out into general circulation. Such a shame.
I love all coins (except the Zincoln cents) so it is impossible for me to chose. I could more easily list those coins I find undesirable than my favorite.
My submission is my 1915 P lincoln wheat cent, I'm also partial to this 2019 American Memorial Park P quarter. Unfortunately I don't have the opposite sides available at the moment to post them.
I have to go with the 1907 High Relief $20 gold in MS-65, which I have posted here a couple of times.
