Still using a cane but I'm ok in the house from the time so get up until about 5 pm. The doctor was very pleased with my progress. Quite a difference in the before and after photos. I'm really doing good and go back in 2 months. Here's a couple of photos but the swelling is a lot less today than when they were taken. Thanks for all the support. Looks like I'll get some more usage out of it before I have to have it replaced. And to keep with coins, here's a photo of one one my Mint errors, a Die Adjustment Strike.
Last time I had knee surgery it was to remove a broken chunk of bone from a crash I took while racing in Portland Oregon. Turn four made my knee a black and blue balloon for about three weeks so it’s good to see your knee is doing great! Take it slow and steady and you’ll be without the cane in no time. Reed
After 5 years, those 'bullet holes' almost fade to nothing. Had meniscus tear that needed cleaning up and there was enough other cartilage damage that the doc basically detailed the entire inside of my knee. This was by the guy that does the MN Wild's orthopedics. They had me doing therapy 3 days later, essentially 'get up and use it' stuff stressing regaining range of motion. And lots of icing. It works wonders for the inflammation. Hope it continues to go well.
Collecting nut, that’s awesome. Glad your making progress. Just keep walking, bending, and squatting.... keep working on it bud!! You will be posting picture of you doing back flips soon!
"The Stitches Are Out" Tell them to put them back in. We all need something to hold us together. Great to here it's working out well.
No way, the stitches are out and that's the way it's staying. How's, the stitches I can't see or feel are staying but then they're on the inside.
