    Thankfully, it survived the War Between the States... it's an 1859 Indian Head Cent! Notice how there is no shield on the reverse, and the wreath is closed. That's how you can identify it!

    Awesome, congrats to all the winners. Was fun to see what everyone posted. I have to admit that mine was not one from my personal collection, rather I had seen it online a while back and found it truly fascinating. Thought people would find it interesting.
