Nonsense! The ancients members are the coolest around! Any coin that you would love, others would too! It’s just so much fun. I sorta felt the same way the first year I participated, now I look forward to it all year!

Nothing to report today. Cept my front broke off the box yesterday, and earlier my friend ran the post over. Waiting for the town plow to do her in, so I get a free one

 

Just a reminder to all... in the last few years I used the gift recipient's CT username for the name on the shipping label to make it more-or-less obvious that it's from your CoinTalk Secret Santa (CTSS).

Specifically, I put "[enter username] CTSS" to make it uber obvious where the mail is coming from, especially if you didn't gift wrap the present since you purchased the gift online and sent it directly to the recipient. In which case, ask the seller to not include an invoice.

Also, don't put "Secret Santa" as the sender if you're sending it directly. This helps to mitigate possible theft by postal workers. Use your name, initials, or something else. And, someone mentioned this earlier but it's worth mentioning again - when posting pics of your presents, either don't show the shipping label, or cross out any names and addresses from the package's shipping label.

Got my Secret Santa gift in the mail today. The kids want to open it (and so do I!). I'm not sure I can wait 3 weeks.

 

Haha, waiting is the hardest part. I can't wait until everyone opens their gifts and start sharing what they got.

 

Ok so I have no patience or self control....and my wife wanted to know what was in the package too...so I lasted less than an hour...
My Secret Santa gifted 2 nice half dollars: A 51P Frankie (my son's favorite half dollar design) and a 85S Proof (Mrs FF's birth year and my son loves to collect proofs). Needless to say, they were a hit and were immediately swiped and added to my son's collection...so I guess no present for me

An hour isn't bad.

 

I am going to wait until Dec. 20th to send mine, I want the excitement to build and take the urge to open early out of the hands of the recipient. Just kidding recipient, yours will be going out soon.
