The most recent addition to my collection is an ANACS certified 2009 American Silver Eagle MS70. I've also managed to come across 2 of the 2019 "W" quarters. (Still looking for the other 3!)

The other day I had to drive my mother-in-law to a doctor's appointment a couple hours away, in the Memphis, TN area. While up there, I stopped at a coin shop, since there aren't any where I live. I hadn't been to that shop before but I'm really glad I stopped by and discovered it, as they had a lot of cool stuff and their prices were pretty good. They mostly had US stuff, but they also had some good Victorian/Edwardian-era Canadian stuff and some older British and Australian stuff, which is all right up my alley. Didn't buy anything because the trip up there already ended up costing more than I wanted it to, but I'll be back later. They also told me about a coin show coming up in February in that area that I may attend if finances and time permit.

    Here is my order of preference: 1, 3, 6, 7, 4, 2, 5

Thanks LordM and donors for making this all possible. Good luck everyone!

Are there still double die coins made in the United States Mint?

Number 7 is my first pick to give to my grandpa who is from North Dakota. He was the one that got me started coin collecting.

I can't find a local coin shop in my area, just flea markets and pawn shops. Can anyone recommend a good internet site with a wide selection of U.S. coins at reasonable prices? Thanks ~ D.

I am a Canadian that collects circulated coins from all around the world with concentration on Canada and USA. I don't like how the mints have turned into these bogus celebration non circulated coin money hounds. A moose coin? Come on there are way too many variations of these things to collect or think they are an investment just because they are precious metal. I collect because I love the hunt and the history of the designs. The stories around coins and the fate of the countries and people are wonderful.
