Quite so. And still happy that I bagged one, with so much competition.

My Friday the 15th order arrived yesterday. They were up for a few minutes that morning. Feel lucky to have gotten one.

I got mine at 12:08 on November 14 and it’s still a couple of days out (according to FedEx’s tracker). Knowing my luck, they’ll manage to lose it!

My acknowledgment from the mint was received at 12:04 on the 14th, yet tracking says I still have to wait another 11 days.

Yikes! I guess I should be thankful for my more timely (projected) delivery.

Have to agree, most people couldn't even buy one and he was able to procure 15,yea I don't believe that. He had 15 different addresses & CC's at the ready.
The US Mint should have at least offered the coin to people who are signed up for the annual ASE distributions.

With a mintage of only 30,000 how would the mint be able to accommodate those enrolled? Even then there'd be hoards of collectors left out in the lurch.

There is and was no way to please all the people all the time. No matter what they did there were going to be dissatisfied people.

And those dissatisfied people can pay anywhere from $1000 to $15000 for one in the aftermarket if they really want one bad enough.

Or they can be a bit patient and wait for the prices to subside.

I wish I had more sophisticated tools to analyze eBay sold listings (with actual accepted offers, not just BIN asks) against active listings. It would be interesting to watch the tide start to turn.

Watch count .com is good for looking at the actual Ebay sold price using the item identifier number, once you get the hang of the website. Between that and the sold listings, it paints a picture that this coin isnt' going to be dropping before christmas, and may still go up. they are selling well.

The mint made money on them, my 14 friends also made nice money on them, the guy I sold them to too cheap is making money on them, PCGS is making money on them.... I love capitalism.

Exactly. Everyone had the same fair shot to get them and it's no different than what many dealers do including ones that get praised as being so great on this forum

Who's praising dealers, saying they're so great?

A very distorted version of capitalism. You're giving a good thing a bad reputation.
