Just a nasty scrape. Vice job would have an incused and backward image of another coin.

 

So the clash is legitimate?

 

Oh.. I just noticed that on the shoulder. That looks like a vice job.

Snowplow damage ? found many up here in snow country with scrapes like that

 

It's the fine teeth grip from the vice I believe.

I have never seen vice jaws with that pattern.

If you press a penny into another... the letters will not be raised as shown for the O and N I posted is my point.The letters being the high point of the coin would leave an impression that is not raised.Idk what it is tbh,I just thought it was a troll

 

I'm pretty sure I saw @JCro57 do that. LOL
