2005 clad proof sets available!

I guess they jumped the gun a little and started taking orders for the 2005 clad proof set at 6am instead of noon. Perhaps they realized that this would lead to less overload on their ordering system?

I Just ordered 2. Shouldn't have been available until 12:00 noon EST, but I'll take the early jump.

The Mint mentions that they would be available at 12:01 AM on their press release. I've ordered mine as well.

I will pick up one or two clad proof sets for sure, but I am more interested in making sure I get the Unc sets this year – I don’t want to make that mistake again.

BTW – I was shocked to be able to buy a 2004 SE proof this week. In 2003 as I recall they cut off the orders for Eagles on 31 Dec.

 

Got the 2005 sets this a.m. with no hitch unlike the rolls and bags of nickels. Wondered if they would have both nickels and they do. Now we can await the silver proof sets. Think those ocean nickels will be a better strike before the mass production or have they allready struck the ones for circulation?

 

Ordered my usual 3 sets of the proof, while in there, I got the 2 roll set of the californy quarters and the new nickels which was BO till the 18th- -

Well they r still avail but the nickels r on back order again till 3/19...better get 'em now!
