tons of books n tubes. Bonuses: there were 53 mercury dimes in 1 of the tubes, a 2001 d fsb dime, cincuenta centavos 1965 (not sure what that is yet), 1901 v nickel, can't tell the date buffalo nickel, 1943 walker half (f-xf not sure yet as I don't know how to grade these my first one), 1981 canada cent,1997 elizabeth 1 penny, steel cent, 1943 franc, 34 and 55d and misc wheats, 1982 2 pennic (dutch?)1994 mexico 10c, and the real reason I went to the coin shop. An MS Ben Franklin tercentenary commem for $35(the one with the fugio cent styling on the back). So, I decided to try my luck at the bank and changed a box of cents 4 a box of cents. My favorite teller informed me they had AZ quarters in, so I got a roll. Then I was telling her of my halves roll searching (7 or 8 hundred dollars so far) and about how the pre 70's are silver, so she let me buy the 67 she had in the drawer. Awesome day! Can't wait to search the box of cents! Wish my camera was better than 3.2 MegaPixels so I could show U all.

Currently charging the camera (sony dsc-p71 3.2 MegaPixels), How do I optimize the pic as cam is such a low MP? I'll do my best.

Set it for macro and exposure metering on spot. 3.2 meg is lots pixels for the pic, but you need to use a tripod for the camera. Lighting is probably more important that the camera. I use 2 reveal lights - one from each side. The reveal light help, but are not necessary. Indirect sun light is probably the best, but it is a little hard to count on that.

 

Just got my 1987 Singapore Uncirculated set in the mail today

the coins are in a plastic they use... which I think is why they are all toned...
I'll have to get some pictures.

 

I have to admit that one of the reasons i like this board so much is how diverse the collecting is and nobody seems to have a arrogance about what they collect vs what you might collect.

Jeankay- thanks for the comments about the ikes and mercs. I am 2 ikes away from having the basic reg set done.I just need the 73,74 silver to finish the set and i have bids in on those at teletrade so i hope by next week i will have the set complete in pf69.Thanks for the offer on the 57d cent.I would accept only on the condition that i could offer something up to you in exchange.
