I went to the bank today and exchanged a ten for a roll of halves. I had pretty good luck - one 1964 half and one 1967 half...first time I ever purchased a roll of halves...I think I'll do it more often!

Mine is a dozen UNC BU 1959-D D/D rpm's from an original old roll. It's a minor rpm and not even listed. The D has split serifs.

OK I guess I will include my 2 most interesting finds. Most of you have likely already read my other posts in the error forum. For those that haven't.
I found a 1999 Delaware SQ with a Dropped letter error. That really wasn't in circulation though, I did purchase a roll back in 99 and just recently searched it.
    Also I found a 1984 1 cent with a capped die strike.

The city of Jacksboro is having a clean up campaign and tearing down all the old falling downs around town. I went with my detector out last week and found two Mercs, one was a 21 D in Fine condition.

The last post wasn't exactly found in circulation but I had to share the find anyway. I did get a 1952 Roosy in change last week.

3 more today. 1940, 1937 and 1941D Washington quarters. All nice and worn but will all the details visible. Actually my wife brought these home today from her "change".

Where does she get her 'change'. I never find that type of quarter in circulation. I think I got a 1950 d at one time, but rarely find anything older than 1965.

skane, one of my daughters works a part time job in a convience store. She watches the change for me that Kids bring in, lots of times they have found Mom or Dads silver coin stash. Poor Mom and Dad don't know it! My Dad would have nailed me to a wall for spending his 90% silver coins.......................LOL

Skane, My wife works in a local Pharmacy and you'd be amazed at what people use to pay for purchases. You can always tell when someone needs money fast and digs into Dad or Mom's private stash. She said she thought there were 5 quarters but before she could look again there were only 3 left. one day she brought home 20 Ike's that someone used for purchases. One "good" day she brought home (2) 1934series $5 notes and usually Silver Certificates come through quite often. She is not a collector but she does notice when something looks or sounds different than normal.

Ok Skane drool over this one. A 1995series $1 FRN, crisp, new and unfolded, serial # A10000001A. The owner of the local bakery showed it to me and asked if I wanted it. She knows I collect coins and currency and thought I MIGHT be interested.

    Steve E,

That one might fetch a decent sum on eBay. A pure 2 digit Crisp Unc radar note. Very nice!
