    Been watching a coin (with quite a few others) seller was away and not processing orders. Noticed this morning that the message had changed slightly so took a chance. It is now in my purchased section and the payment has gone through.

    For 23GBP delivered I will be a very happy bunny.

    I’m hoping you get it @Pishpash , that is a cool coin! Before now, if I had been asked if there was an ancient Roman coin featuring a hippopotamus, I would have replied “no.” I learn something new every day on this forum.

    If you win that for 23 quid, I don't see much downside there. Hope the deal goes through!

    Happy, happy hopping hippos...

    @Pishpash:

    I'm not judging your coin at all but I do want you to know that there are fakes of this type going around. This is one I had last year and it was almost an exact match (both in the details and shape of the flan) to another one that was on Vcoins. I spoke to that Vcoins dealer and we both agreed that they are not genuine.

    Yeah, I think so too but this is just one of those coins you need to be a bit wary of.
