My phone has 2 lenses I have the Essential PH-1, not sure how I would fit a extra external lens onto it. Unless it would work thru the main lens on my phone. I could check? HERES A PIC OF THE BACK OF MY PHONE WITH THE 2 LENSES. WUTTA YA THINK. WOULD IT WORK SO I COULD USE IT TO GET BETTER PICS WITH THE LENS?

I use my phone for almost all my coin photos. I takes some practice and experimenting with lighting to get good photos. It can be done.

Hi, nubie here. So I originally came to this post to share my experience and opinions on 81 proof type2mm's. But am having a heck of a time learning the format of this forum. I will just keep editing this post until I get it right, bear with me, thanks. So from what I've seen thisis a type 1 mm for a 1981. I thinkther could be confusion because this is the same mm used for 79-80 which would be a type 2 for a 79...(later year) and throughout 80. but into 81 becomes type one because type is designated by early year/late year. If that helps anyone. But its always nice to have a confirmation and another point of view. So anyone agree//disagree this is type one for 81?

Type 1. The 2 rounded openings of the S is the indicator of type 1. Type 2 the holes have some call a tail ( comet shaped ) openings. Jim

I personally think the terms clear s or blob s are not very descriptive. It is also difficult to say whether or not your specific mark has a tail or is rounded. Depends on the coin from what I've seen. User paddyman98 posted a great link in page 1, here it is... http://www.lincolncentresource.com/San_Fransisco_Mintmark_Styles.html
I would think a better term would be narrow s and broad s based on that info.
