the first 1922 and then the upgrade (it's in an ICG holder if anyone wants to take a guess at the grade)

the first 4 are of the first one

the last two are of the ICG one

Ps: My grade doesn't count cause everyone knows I suck at grading silver. :goofer:

Spider - let me make sure I understand you here. Are you saying that the pics in your first post are the same coin or two different coins ? And then the pic in your second post is a different coin all together ?

GD, the first 4 pics are of the same coin (in different light)

my second post (as in a reply to this thread) is the upgrade ICG coin

I would be surprised to hear the first coin went higher than 64, and a 63 wouldn't phase me either.

The second coin looks like a solid 65.

If they are the same coin I will buy two peace dollars and eat them.

hey guys just to clear this up
the first pics are of the same coin, the light differs from artificial to natural light so the coin appears much different. You first see two obverses (the first coin) and then two reverses (the first coin). then I replied to the thread with the upgrade coin.

some of you guys are actually going higher than what ICG gave it
GD, gonna take a stab at it?

That's the confusing part. It could be two things when you say the upgrade coin. It could mean that you sent the same coin to ICG and they graded it higher. Or - it could mean you bought a coin of the same date with a higher grade in an ICG slab. See what I mean ?

Anyway, in the first pics they are so different that they do look like different coins. But yes there is a distinct difference between the coin in your second post, it is a much nicer coin. I'd say a 65, but wouldn't be surprised if the slab said 66.

well guys, most of you got the second coin right.
ICG gave it a MS 65, so I guess they got it right.

and GD, I understand what you mean
the lighting completely changes the outlook of the coin
