    They are in my sig:)

    what do you guys think?

I will not buy anything but these, as they are my top favorite six type of coins (not in order though).

I wont be buying any of these either (except for frankies and romans) until I learn a little about them.

looks like I need to sell the 1978-S Morgan I just won to buy the books...lol:)

P.S.: I can finally walk on my ankle :) (but its still a little sore)

Hmmm....is a Tanka the female version of a Tonka? :goof:

Just teasing. It's great you've decided what you want to do. Congrats!

    thanks for the replys guys.

The hardest one to complete will be the Peace dollar set, since it has the 1928-S in it. Then followed by the franklin set. The other two are pretty easy.
Romans and Tankas will never be completed, I think it is impossible.

Also, I don't plan to get the proofs either, for right now at least.

Nice sets to work on. I'm always suprised at how frustratingly difficult it is to assemble a nice set of SBA's at a reasonable cost. Not as easy as I assumed it would be considering how much everyone seems to shun this series.

The 1928-S isnt really the one that you'll have to worry about. The 1921, 1928 and the 1934-S are the big hitters in this set. The 1928 is more expensive in any grade. The 1921 can be bought anywhere from around $90 for a G4 up to about $300 for MS60, the prices of these go up gradually, there are no huge price jumps so if you can afford to go $20-30 dollars more to jump a few grades....do it. The 1934-S is very inexpensive in lower grades and doesnt go up alot until you get to XF40. As far as this entire set goes, go for the highest grade that you can afford and dont get in a hurry to buy, take your time and put together a nice set, you're still very young, you have plenty of time to find the right coins for your collection. Good Luck!!!!
