Fwiw, I snapped the picture as soon as it dropped from the roll. I do it with every IHC I find. Be they reverse side up, date covered, whatever. I like to document just how they came out. I got lucky this time :)

Was at work and I noticed my boss got customer wrapped quarters instead of machine wraped about 20 rolls. Im one of the only Roll hunters in my town and the only one at my bank so on my break I went though them found 4 bicentennials a 1963 silver, 2 W War in the pacific and a In got We rust Error. Some nicer early state quarters to.

If your CRHing budget allows, simply place an order for a box of small dollar coins at a bank. A box contains 1,000 coins. This would be much more efficient than using vending machines. GL!

Yes, small dollar CRH was a good distraction from half dollar CRH for me. I have found a few impaired proofs, and one MEL (Missing Edge Lettering) Presidential. I believe it was James Polk.

I stopped getting notifications from this thread. Been dry for me so nothing to post. However, I wish everyone luck and I'm still searching!

Okay, I posted a few weeks ago that I was taking a break from half dollar CRH for about a month. This is because I am in sunny SoCal visiting family. But, I couldn’t resist calling my bank branches out here and ordering 8 boxes, lol. 4 Brinks boxes arrived yesterday:
    Box #1 (single ender): 22 x 40%ers & 56 NIFCs (46 were 2018-D, 8 of which were Unc).
    Box #2: 1 x 1964-D & 56 NIFCs (44 were 2018-D, 2 of which were Unc).
Somebody is dumping a bunch of 2018-Ds! I’ll keep the Uncs for the Grands Dansco albums. Below are pics from the 1st box.
There are some serious CRHers out here. One branch I called had $6000 CWRs in halves in their vault! I assumed, based on past experience, that these have been searched by the many CRHers out here. So I didn’t buy them. Dumping will be an issue as my dump bank back home (with coin counting machines) does not have any branches out here. So, I am re-rolling and will deposit them in different branches than the branches where I bought them. Oh, on the drive out here, I dumped 6 boxes of searched halves in various branches making sure they were in a different Loomis region than my home town.

Tonight 2 banks had $4.50 loose halves and $80 in MWR halves.

Nothing in the loose, and 1, 68D in the MWRs. I broke my drought!

Just finished my 1st week of box hunting and having a blast. 2 Lowell Ws and an AMP W. Lots of old quarters but no silver. No uncirculated rolls and still haven't seen even a P or D River of No Return.

about $1.25 in loses with 5 quarters missing replaced by:
    a tiny rubber band
    a penny
a pull tab off a soda can
    a Philippines 1 Piso worth 1.9 cents
a Kenyan shilling worth less than a penny :)

In 2 boxes of halves got six 40%ers and a 1964. I was wondering if I might have found something kind of nice with this '69. The back looks incredible, maybe MS67, and the front is pretty nice, I'm guessing maybe MS62 or 63 (but I've never sent anything in for grading). Would really appreciate any thoughts on what a grading company might come back with on this, and what they do when there's a front/back difference. If it's even worth sending in. :D

A whole stinkin box of brand new River of No Return P's and "one" W pops out! Is that possible?? I guess it is!! Almost an hour and a half of looking at P's, two rolls to go and a W jumps out! I had to double check it 4 times!! I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I guess they really are mixing then in.

Brinks box #3 was a winner and provided a nice stack of silver and another load (43) of 2018-D NIFCs. Plus a 1974-D DDO proving they have them in CA as well!

The '69 is in great condition, but not worth sending in to be graded because soooo many of these were minted. That said I keep the best of the best 40% silver halves, and would keep your '69 if I had found it.

@TexAg Congrats, it appears you are in a hot zone!

I have family in LA that I will be visiting in February. Now you have me thinking it may be worthwhile to order a few boxes!

Nixed the quarter boxes and added 2 more half dollar boxes. This week wasn’t my week apparently.
    2 boxes of cents - solid 2019P
    4 boxes of halves - 67, 96s proof, stickered

Would take those finds over the 3 boxes of 2019P cents I have to unwrap tonight...
