    My world coin collection catalog currently shows 2,624 different coins (meaning each one is in a 2x2 and has a different catalog number on them).
    Here's a photo of some of the coins I have not yet entered into my catalog.

    @Alicia728

    I had started a piece and face value count on my circulated American a few months ago, it hasn’t changed much since then, I keep what I can find here in Canada with the coin roll hunt and bargain bin busting.

    For this contest, I started counting the others... ugh! I should have used the kitchen table to try and sort and stage more logically for my photo. Not included in my picture: my books of Canadian, all the possible errors I have intended to confirm (mostly Canadian Pennies), the books I’ve been amassing for my 3 children and all the silver my grandparents collected which got me hooked in this crazy business in the first place.

    What I did count was... 1056 but I’m certain, in total, guesstimating, double that number. What I can say for certain, I only have 8 bills and my current favourite out of them all is my 2019 reverse proof silver $1 Piedfort, the only piece in its original box and case.

    Thanks for your generosity CoinBlazer.

    Entry post. AFTER my next local auction (December 21) I will still have approximately 7,500 coins. Once I get done going through my State and ATB quarters and a box of Jeffersons I might be down to a couple of thousand. This does not count bullion (mostly war nickels and WLHs).

    I was warned last week by the woman who tried to pull out the large safe deposit box at the bank that I had to "lighten the box" as no one is allowed to have a box heavier than she could lift.

    I surrender. I counted my main safe. I reached 1273. That’s just my boxes of favorites. I have a safe of Dansco’s, Whitman’s, mint and proof sets and commemoratives. And a third safe full of of rolls of silver quarters, halves, dollars and ASE’s..... And even then I have a dresser drawer with rolls of buffalos and wheat cents.... I am throwing in the towel at 1273 plus.

    Edit.... stevarino just reminded me... I didn’t account for my bank box. I just realized that I need to downsize.

    I have 5734 numismatic items in various collections. This does not include my accumulations including thousands of cents (LWC, copper & zinc memorials), halves, misc Canadians, duplicate US moderns, etc.

    I have 745 coins in various US and Canadian Albums. 376 coins reside in OGP mint and proof sets from various countries. I have 11 OGP silver Ikes. 397 loose/carded/flipped exonumia items, mostly tokens. And 4205 loose/carded/flipped world coins.

    On top of the coins and exonumia, I have a handful of under 100 banknotes from various countries. Now, if we wanted to include books, magazines, and other numismatic publications...my coins pale in comparison!

    @Shrews1994 ... let's see how you're coming along!

    Here is the pride of my collection:

    And one of my coin cabinets:

    and my personal coin display (and my two black cabinets):

    okay...they're not really black cabinets, they're just colored black. :angelic: I'm re-working my display with some of my proof sets for a while, so it's been emptied for the most part.

    Now, I'm guessing we will count up to 845,235 coins depending on how long this goes for.
