    The 1970 cent is damaged. (Could have been dropped in a parking lot or a street for a while.)

    The 1990 "no mintmark" cent is a normal cent struck in Philadelphia. (The Philadelphia does not place mintmarks on their cents.)

    No offense to the OP, but this is my only issue with CT.

    Those coins are all common.

    No Cent that has come from the Philadelphia has ever had a mintmark on it. this is a common cent. If you find one WITH a P on it that would be interesting! :} :}

    Lincoln Cents have never, ever, had a mint mark when produced at the main US Mint in Philadelphia. As such, you have managed to find 1 of 6,851,765,000 that were produced.

    In 1980, for the first time since 1793, Philadelphia began putting a "P" mintmark on all coins "EXCEPT" the Lincoln Cent.

    Keep looking though.

    Nothing too special or noticeable with these coins.

    You will find a P mint mark only on the 2017 Cent. First and only time the Philadelphia Mint will do it.

    Nope the famous one is a proof coin with no mint mark (s). Yours are not proof coins, just normal business strikes from Philadelphia (thus no mint marks). Keep looking!

    Square rims and mirror like fields are the two easiest ways to tell. IMO. side by side with a business strike very easy... Once you see a few then pretty easy.
