Sorry but what you have is a damaged coin, not an error.

I am not sure about that.
The second to the last picture, when blown up, looks unusual -- to say the least.

It does look like some tiny cuds forming up along the rim from about the point (of damage) north.

Would the cuds increase the value at all , they do look like cuds , as per the description Bonedigger gave me the other day . Learn something new all the time thanks to you guys .

Those don't look like cuds to me. They look like finning that has been bent over. Unfortunate. It was a very nice coin before the edge damage.

Not sure, but from looking at all the pictures I think damage also. I would call in AU-details. That last dark picture of the reverse showed a few light rubs. Still not a bad coin.

    Well I guess I didn't learn how a cud looks . So they are'nt cuds , right .

I do not think they are cuds - to me it looks like a little rough edge to the cuni, then a hit on the right side. Again I am not an expert and just stating what I think I see.

Have you weighed it (what is the weight)?

But even with the "dim ding" it's a nice IH! :thumb:

    Ribbit :)

Looks like about a 40 to me. I don't know if it can be graded with the rim damage though.

I don't think they're cuds either. Don't cuds form when the die has a defect and transfers it onto the planchet? The rims are not struck by dies.
