I have coins with lines in them from a cracked die but I picked up a coin today that when I look at it with a loupe looks like it is raised up. Is this more a clash then crack? 1AE8EEE7-B0A1-47E9-B3A3-C901A5616E50.png

I'm looking for a decent (large enough) Morgan overlay. I can't find one.

    I think it's a clash!

It looks like a clash but an overlay is needed and I don't have one.

It's a fairly common clash on Morgan Dollars. Have you got a picture of the obverse.

Yes, it is a clash. It is the "cap vee" from the obverse.

Actually @Chad lajoice it is just the other way around. A clash is recessed on the coin and a crack is raised on the coin.
