B. Max Mehl pedigree Gold CAC Texas Commemorative

Just wanted to share this because I've never seen one before. B. Max Mehl pedigree on a PCGS holder. I've only ever seen the original paper flips with the paired up slabbed coin, but never the man's actual name on the slab. Pretty neat. Add the pastel rainbow and deep, dark tones along with the coveted gold CAC to boot, and she's a winner in every sense of the word! Feel free to post info on B. Max Mehl or share your coins.

Mark Feld is related to B. Max Mehl. I was acquainted with Mark on the NGC forums. The last I heard, he was working for Heritage.

Mark still post on the NGC forum. He is also back on CU. I learned a lot from the guy.

 

His numismatic company building is a chiropractors (or something similar now). I was in the area about 4 years ago and was surprised to see some really cool numismatic decor worked inti the side of a building. If I could easily find my pics, I'd share them, but they're pretty buried.

I think is name is still carved in stone over the entrance to the building... saw a photo once.
