my beginners luck has run out.... haven't found anything for the past few days....so i assume I'm not a beginner anymore.....maybe novice? j/k ill find something tonight when i go into work....gotta love working register...well it would be even better if i had a job at the bank..lol
I am going to be working at the register, but the only problem is not looking suspicious when you switch the bills out of the cash drawer.
patience plays a big factor in collecting, no matter what you collect you have to be patient and keep your peepers open.
Say what??? Nothing in the past few days..my friend, it can take years and ones luck never runs dry..it is simply a matter of right time right place. Do not give in so easily..continue the quest until the journey has no remaining steps. RickieB
I must be the really lucky one then, I have at least 18 registers that I have access to when I am at work. And on most days they are all up and running. Although the management understands my coin and bill affinity, they do require that I get a supervisor to observe my trade transactions. I usually carry a 20 and a handful of various change on me at all times for such occasions. The big one that got away was a Mint State 1972 100$ bill a gent used to buy his big screen tv with. I was so upset that I couldn't just spare an "extra" 100$. I'm only 24, perhaps some day I can finally catch that big bill that got away...
Listen to the pros! I've gone weeks without finding even a three digit radar in bad condition (I'm talking about Canadian currency here). But then I'll get two or three nice keepers within a day or so of each other. Just think of the number of bills that are in circulation everyday and how relatively few pass of those through your hands. For me it's the thrill of the hunt and each day I look forward going through the previous day's take. Just by being perceptive increases your luck. Don't give up!
