Old Russian Kopeck, but which ruler?

    Dear all,

    I got this in Tiergarten, Berlin, recently.

    I know it's a Kopeck from between 1400-1700, but I don't know when/issued by whom.
    I can't read Cyrillic (especially so the old alphabet), but I tried to match the writing to the Kopecks on Numista.com. But there are just SOOO many samples there...

    I thought it may be worthwhile to ask here if anybody here recognizes it or can understand any bit of the text that would provide a lead.

    I believe yours is minted under Michael I (1613-1648), the first Romanov. I can’t make out the mint. Silver-copeck.ru is a great site for these, but you’d have to know the ruler’s name in Russian first.

    Yes it is! Michail Fedorovich Romanov (1613-1645).
