I have the Harris albums for my Lincoln cent collection, but of course there are no spaces for proofs ("s" mint mark after... 1974?) Other than putting them in 2x2's, what other options are there? It would be great if a book/album the same size as the Harris/Whitman albums existed for "generic" cents, even if I had to write in the dates, etc.
I not very familiar with the Harris/Whitman albums, but I know that Dansco offers blank album pages. Maybe they would fit your existing albums with light modification if you don't like their album.
H.E. HARRIS FOLDER # 2676 has 90 blank holes for cents. Whitman and Littleton have similar folders. Can't find any folders that include proofs - you might have to go with an album like Dansco 8100 to get proofs. Albums [2 sides viewable] being different than folders [only 1 side visible].
@Conder101, these wouldn't be mint-state proofs. I filled 90% of my Lincoln folders with coin roll hunting; not as attractive as BU or as nice, but I can say that I found them. I like buying proofs from the junk bins at coin shops, too. I just want to have one of every Lincoln cent; quality doesn't matter to me at this point. @bdunnse, thanks for the heads-up on the Harris 2676. I might get one of those.
Does anyone know why the Dansco Lincoln #8100 "including proof only issues", has all the S mint coins labeled only as S and not as S Prf like other Dansco books? Aaron
Welcome to the neighborhood, Aaron! It is best if you start your own thread. Older threads, such as this one from 5 years ago, are often passed over. I'm not familiar with the Dansco #8100. Photos of the album cover and a typical page might help. Chris
