$100 Star Note... low serial??

    i got this $100 star note -1996, i notice the first 3 #s are 000...i assume its somewhat low, not very though..its in mint condition though, probably JUST under Ch Chu, is it worth anything more than face value?? if so, like what?

    excellent find! it's values at $150 for ch-cu. And my guess I would say it's worth around that too.

    ok, thanks for all your help and advice..you are very clutch, lol (i gotta ask, where do you find out all these values?? is it a book or something?)

    yeh what you mean im clutch? never herd that expression before : P i like to help other people out...i know how i felt when i didnt have a book...if you have any questions let me know. :hail:

    Nice looking note and it does list at $150 in CHCU. Only problem is selling them if you decide to. Larger denomination notes are harder to move.

    As for a book I have always recommended

    Standard Guide to Small-Size U.S. Paper Money
    1928 To Date

    by John Schwartz and Scott Lindquist.

    The 8th editiion is now out.

    Good book.
