i dont know if these are anything great, but they just caught my eye... i dont care much for the $5, but the $50 looks like it might be something, lol. what'd you guys think????
the 50 is but the 5 no...when you have zeros in front of the serial they cancel out so you start with the first actual number... so really the 50 is 111000...make since? I think it is called a tri-nary im not sure. I think there is only premium on these serials for personal collections though. hope this helps... nice finds!
ditch the 5$... go buy yourself lunch with it the 50 though, only 2 unique digits, which are 0's and 1's - nice binary note. (111000 is 56 in Binary (base 10)... lol)
Spend the five as mentioned...the $50 has seen some circulation but has a nice SN...you may find someone who might want it at a small premium.. RickieB
Er... binary is base 2, not base 10 (base 10 is decimal, pretty much standard numbers). You're right though, it does come out to 56 (8 + 16 + 32). Nice binary note lol... wonder if there's any premiums for binary notes where the serial matches the denomination, in binary? (For a $50 that would be 110010).
ohhh right right! lol, sorry, its been a while since I took Intro to Electrical Engineering, which I failed. hahah. Binary is the one thing I learned from that class.
