i found a coin i hope someone can tell me what it may be. one side is so worn you cant see anything, the other side has george washington with his head facing right instead of left, it has presidetial u.s. on top and george washington on bottom, thats all i can make out. any help would be appreciated thanks
Not sure I wanna know It sounds like what you described in your first post may be a GW medal - they are quite numerous and have many varieties. If you can post a pic - somebody may be able to identify it.
I have a book on medallic portraits of Washington, but in scanning through the photos, none of them matched your description. Not all have photos however, so it could still be listed in the book. A photo would be most helpful.
