Not to far from the truth. If you are cremated you can have your ashes blended into a record album. True story from National Geographic.

What a joke....but at least they have a nice obverse image on their page.
Sorry I just can't buy into that stuff...but if you get the magic 70 you hit the flipping jack pot.
I'm confirmed for 1 and it's going "OH NO" into my Dansco

A perfectly good place for it. Keep it out of the plastic coffin!

Hey man, I have had a great day. I got one of these coins for my son AND got orders to stay where I am until I retire. You can't get me with making fun of my spelling mistakes! :p
I blame the window though because it didn't make a squiggle underneath telling me it was the wrong word haha.

If I got number 00001 or a repeater or something, or number 30000 I would do it probably, I guess thats why they will only do it if it's unopened, so you don't know if the number is good one or like 21954.

It's a cash grab, once encapsulated you can only see the front and back of the COA, not the inside of it, and that slab is larger than the coin slabs, so you'll probably want to buy a case to house it also, I dunno.

I've always been scared to send in a mint order to them unopened on the off chance the coin isnt' there in the packaging and then who do I blame? LOL what if it has milk spots or all screwed and I wanted to return it but now its TPG slabbed?
I'm not a fan, I can't imagine the COA slabs being worth a damn thing, nevermind the $15 to get it done.

Are they putting the cert# on the coin slab regardless if you pay for the COA getting slabbed? seems like they should.

I can't imagine anyone caring about the COA being slabbed, I understand wanting the cert number on the coin slab, but the COA, come on now, are we gonna have COA collectors, will a coin get devalued if it doesn't have the COA slab accompanying it? This is foolishness...

They should just slab the mail truck.

If it was empty it would be on video there which might actually help you out. The ugly coins are always a risk unfortunately.
