I've had this 1979 Susan B Anthony Gold coin for awhile, i know most of them are not gold. and it has like a coat of something over it to prevent it from scratching which ive never seen before...is this rare or of any value?

I'd guess a gold plated susan b. is worth somewhere between 1-10 $ depending on who you sell it too. might get more but probably not too much though.

  4. For collector's value, it's worth a dollar. However, not as a big collection, when I see this kind of stuff for cheap (I'd buy that for two or three dollars) I usually will get it. These plated coins and painted coins have always been interesting to me, even if I will never make a profit.

    Value to a knowledgeable collector = $1.00

Value to an unknowing collector who is attracted to shiny objects = Limitless

Looks like a gold plated SBA that I got as a kid from Littleton Coin.

    Where?

As soon as you give me the buyer's ID and I confirm their offer, I'm going to run over to the bank and get a box, have them gold plated, and sell them at a discount - $9.50 each or $225 per roll!
