At least now I can connect from the laptop, wasn't able to earlier -- had to use the session already open on my phone.

Trying to sign in, though, still leads to the "Oops...something went wrong" page. (Come on, developers. Yes, I know testing against really giant traffic surges is hard -- but can't you at least set up an actual error page, instead of leaving it up to some entry-level programmer putting in a PRINT statement?)

Edit: Now I can sign in, and the order says "PROCESSING". Probably a good sign. Went to the product page, and it says, SURPRISE, "currently unavailable".

Mine was in the shopping cart, site locked down. Wound up with a “sorry. Sold out” in my cart.

tried to connect before it went on sale, all that it said is 'oops ...something went wrong'. 20 minutes after retrying, i connect and they are sold out. I'm sure all the big dealers had no issues.

Same story here. Crashed for 20 mins, got in bag, final review "invalid item in bag". I've never had this happen before.

After lots of refreshing after checkout crashes, I eventually made it through. I got the email saying my order was received and I got an order number. Not sure if this means I got one or not since it says I’ll get an order confirmation later.

So, maybe everyone who had this issue should close their account with the U S Mint and send them a "screw you" letter.

    Sixfootfour Coins are cool !

Seems like there's a lot of people who want to gripe about a process that has been in place since the web was invented. It's a way of life now.
I have missed several opportunities because I wasn't right up on the puter or handheld device. I was there today and got mine.
Just think, if it was old times I would have to send a check through snail mail, or travel to the mint to get a coin.
I'm glad we don't do things like we use to. Got to roll with the flow, or get left behind in the dust and rust.
If you are the few that worked to get the coin, congratulations, you earned it !!!

Got a confirmation email at 12:16. Does this mean that I got it for sure?

If that many people are trying to get this coin, the site should still be swamped and overloaded. seems very convenient that it cleared up as soon as they were sold out.
