I found this $100 note about a week ago, the ink seeps lightly through both sides... but the lettering from the back is clearly coming through the other side of the bill on the top and bottom, and even some through near Franklin's face from the trees on the back, on the back as well some of the lettering from the front is seeping through. Is this an error note? and if so, what is its value?? it is in pretty good condition

    hi lew here,
sorry to tell you the note is not considered an error, merely a great embossing as a result of the engraving in the plate "ecthing" it's design into the paper...... as intended. there isnot enough design element to be considered an offset of any signifigance.
    hope this helps
