Anyone going to Baltimore this week?

Anyone else going to the Whitman show in Baltimore this coming week (Nov. 14-17)? I plan to be there on Friday, and I think it would be fun if we could have a mini-meetup of CoinTalk folks.

FFIVN and I will be there on Saturday. Unfortunately work/school don't allow for going during the week days.

Won't be able to attend. Best wishes for finding that special coin. Safe travels to all.

Coming in on Saturday. Unfortunately unable to get there on a weekday due to work travel. Hopefully the dealers I want to see will still be in town on Saturday morning.

I'm going to try and be there Friday, but it probably won't be until the afternoon, around 2:00 pm. The show is the only chance I get to see one of my favorite dealers.

Ancient dealers tend to be there until early afternoon Saturday but that show strikes me as a waste for US people since so many of the dealers pack up and leave early. Friday is a better day. I'm not going. The people I have been riding with are not going and the drive ruins the fun for me when I can see the dealers I want at other shows closer. I used to live for the Baltimore shows but they are not what they used to be IMO.

I am hoping to find maybe a couple of cheaper Byzantines and something for FFIVN. The last Whitman winter show had a few dealers that had boxes of lower-end stuff that you could dig through. Both my son and I really enjoyed that.

One time I was there Harlan Berk had a $10 pickout box but nothing struck me as worth that much. His regular stock started at $100 but nothing struck me as worth that much. Don Zauche usually has some pickout boxes but his better deals are in the half price box. I have been shocked by sellers with a tray of unidentified junk denarii marked "Your choice $35" but with better examples for less than that in their regular boxes. Shows are an experience.
