1934 $50

    i found this today, is it worth holding onto or higher the face value?? its not in great condition, its from 1934

    I would keep it just because. VF its valued at 85..so its up to you really. I would keep it. And i dont have much experience but it look sto be a little off center...

    That looks like the light Green seal variety....too bad about the top edge damage....nice note none the less and yet another NY Note!!

    thanks...now that you mention it, i see that alot and iv always wondered... What is it when i see notes, for example C notes and different ones ther serial number will be either, light green, darker green, black, etc. is there any importance in that? or any more rare than the other??

    In 1934 Series notes the Gov used 2 different color inks..a vivid light green and the dark blue green inks. They are priced near the same but if you ask me, I like the vivid ink better....really stands out on nice white paper!

    I think this note falls into the same category as your $100.

    Congrats on the find and I hope you can afford to keep it.
