Recently I got a box and found 2 war nickels and 15 common 40's and 22 common 50's I found a 39 D and a buffalo 1937 one of my best boxes.

 

That is definitely a very good box indeed!

1963D-DDR

A very nice DDR. Some nice doubling on the reverse. A lot of the splits in lettering are visible.

What to look for

Just like the previous post of the 64D there are a few different DDR varieties. I will focus on the strong doubling versions on this one. Most doubling will be found in "Five" as well as "America" with some very nice strong doubling on "O" in Monticello!

Visible under a 10x magnifier but I would suggest when looking for DDO/DDRs use a 20-30x magnifier.

I check the L's and O's in Monticello not just the CENTS OR. FIVE, thats how i found mine.
